SEATTLE, WA — A 17-year-old boy was killed and a 21-year-old man was seriously injured in a shooting in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood late Sunday night, September 6, 2026, according to police.

Seattle Police Department officers were called shortly after 11:44 p.m. following reports of gunfire near Elliott Avenue and Bell Street. When officers arrived, they found the teenage victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officers and Seattle Fire Department medics attempted life-saving measures, but the 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
